Job Description

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, monitor and order supplies, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Order supplies and equipment, Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas, Manage kitchen operations.
Wages/Salaries: $20 to $22 hourly (to be negotiated). Employee benefits: Extended (group) medical, dental insurance after six months of full-time employment with the company. Primary Job Location: 110 Purvis Lane, Suite 201, Salt Spring Island, BC V8K 2S5
